I've
re-organized the layout of handcrafted dichroic earrings:
you can now find the earrings sorted by "warm colors" (red,
orange, yellow) and "cool colors" (violet, blue, green,
black). Earrings in Christmas colors can be found on
page 6. Each pair of earrings is unique, and you will
receive the exact pair shown in the photo, nestled in an
attractive gift box.
My
dangle earring
designs are lightweight and use either Sterling
Silver or Gold-Filled
French hook-style ear wires. I also supply the clear rubber
stoppers to use on the ends of the hooks -- many people like
this added bonus! The stud earrings feature titanium
posts with premium clutch disk backings, to keep them very
secure on your ears. For those who
wear only clip earrings, I also stock gold-tone and
silver-tone non-pierced clip backings, and I will convert your
dangle earring selections to clips at no additional charge. Contact me before check-out to
verify that your desired style(s) can be converted to clips!.
I make the dichroic earrings typically
in two layers of brilliant dichroic art glass,
painstakingly crafting them for pattern match and size
accuracy. I
fire these pieces at a lower kiln temperature, in order to
retain the texture and shape of the individual elements, and
to maintain the relief features. Depending on how the
light reflects on the dichroic, you just may see a variety
of colors in your dichroic earrings! Glass colors are
shown as accurately as possible, but dichroic is not the
easiest glass to photograph!
